I am honored to serve as the Associational Mission Strategist for the Laurel River Baptist Association. God has blessed me with more than 40 years of ministry experience serving as a Senior Pastor, Interim Pastor, Chaplain, ministry trainer, and associational leader in Kentucky and Missouri. Prior to accepting this position, I served as Senior Pastor of Salvisa Baptist Church in Salvisa, Kentucky, for over eleven years.

Throughout my ministry, I have been passionate about evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, missions, and encouraging pastors and churches. I have participated in mission projects across the United States and internationally and have been involved in disaster relief and community outreach efforts throughout Kentucky.

As AMS, my goal is to serve and strengthen the churches of the Laurel River Baptist Association by encouraging pastors, fostering cooperation among our churches, and helping congregations remain focused on making disciples and advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

My wife, Connie, and I have been married since 1980. We are blessed with three adult sons and eight grandchildren. Outside of ministry, I enjoy riding my motorcycle across America, fishing, driving a tractor-trailer, and spending time with my family.
